Fabulous week!

It started off with the "local wildlife" out at the jobsite. Here are some pictures Adam took this week!
Thelma & Louise

Leonard & Lucy the lizard. Leonard was dancing for Lucy. Adam thought he better take the picture before more happened...

Stewart the Snake

We found another type of wildlife this weekend. The Blomquists came to visit. It looks like our families are really starting to like the fact that we live at Lake Powell. Two siblings in two weeks! It has been so much fun. We sure had a great time at the lake with them, and had two fun nights at our apartment. It was like a giant slumber party. Here are some more pictures of the lake.

Me & Adam

Adams first time wake surfing. He was awesome!

This is of me and Marney. Who said two girls can't be tough!

Hope you enjoyed our photos! I am sure there will be more photos of Lake Powell to come. Have a great week!

Lake Time!

We finally got to go out on the lake this weekend.

I was supposed to be going back up north for work, and Adam was going to come with to have a meeting on Monday as well, but it worked out that both meetings got canceled. Sean and Sara came out to the lake with Sara's family. They were doing a little work on their houseboat and needed tools. So Adam and I headed down to given them a drill, and a few other tools. They invited us to stay for the day, and we got in a little skiing on the lake.

It was still a little chilly, but not bad as we expected! We actually swam quite a bit! Adam's brother Sean got a lot better pictures, but I haven't gotten them yet, so I will post them when we get them.

We came in on Saturday night, just as the sun was going down and relaxed for the rest of the night. I woke up on Sunday morning, to my surprise, with Breakfast in Bed and some flowers. (Thanks a bunch babe!!) Adam and I decided to take a little mid morning nap before church, and ended our nap JUMPING in a panic when we both woke up at 12:30pm! Church started at 1:00. Needless to say, we got ready in a hurry and made it to church ON TIME! (High five!)

We were supposed to be in Utah, spending the evening with the dudley clan, but it looks like we didn't make it! Luckily Adam and I got to both talk to our moms. We are both SO lucky to have the greatest moms in the world! Thanks to both of you for all you do! We love you!

Hope you all had a great Mom's day too! I will post more photos when they come!

Our week in Utah!

Thats right, we spent an entire week in Utah. We were going to leave on Wednesday to come up, but Adam had some meetings he had to be to on Tuesday and Wednesday. It worked out perfect. While I was in my meetings for work on Thursday and Friday, Adam flew in the corporate jet back down to Page for an 'on site' meeting. Then he few back that same afternoon. We sure wish traveling back and forth from Page to Salt Lake was that easy all the time. He is SO picked on! Wait a minute! Who is flying that plane anyway?

Can you believe that it has almost been three months since we had been back to Provo. I feel bad we didn't get to see everyone we wanted to. I guess we will just have to come back up to visit! Either that or you guys can plan a dream vacation to Lake Powell! On Friday Adam got to attend his oldest brothers graduation from the U. (GO COUGARS!!) WAY TO GO SEAN!

We also got to attend my nephew Jacob's Baptism. The whole family came. It was such a great meeting and the spirit was very strong. We are excited for his great decision to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Here is a picture of my family after the baptism. We didn't get everyone, but it is of most of us dudley kids and our spouses.

Other than that, we spent some time with Adam's family since they were up for the graduation. It was tiring running back and forth between the two families, but it was fun to see everyone in one weekend. We sure did eat WAY too much food. You gotta get to every restaurant you can while you are there. We only have 2 to choose from in Page. I think we are going to have to diet for the next week to get rid of the pounds we gained.

This next week Sean and Sara come to the Lake. We are excited to spend time with them before they move to Seattle for Seans Masters program.

We were glad to take some time away from Page, but it was nice to come back to our "space" (Can't seem to call it home yet). It was so good to see the family and come home for a few days. Miss you all!

Carl the Cockroach

This is our new found friend .... Carl. Too bad he is no longer. Adam threatened to use the "Glock 9mm" on him, but I had to hold him off. A piece of toilet paper seemed to do the job. Carl's new home happens to be somewhere in the sewer system in Page. The water doesn't seem to taste so great here. We wonder if that has something to do with the "cockroach" graveyard if you will!
