We left on Thursday the 22nd from Page and drove 4 hours to Vegas, where we caught a non-stop flight to Seattle. Bryson did so well! The flight took off at 8:30 pm (which is his bed time) and he didn't make a peep for the rest of the night! (I don't know if I have mentioned, but Bryson has been sleeping through the night for almost a month now!) Adam's brother, Sean, lives in Seattle with his wife Sara and their five kids. Sean picked us up from the airport at 11:30 pm and we headed to their house in Sammamish! Boy did we sleep well that night! We were so tired from traveling.
Friday morning we woke up and hung out with Sara and the kids. It was so fun to see them! We hadn't seen them since Christmas. Sean came home from School about noon and we left the kids (other than Bryson) with a babysitter and headed for the city! Our first stop was the Space needle. It was an amazing view of Seattle.

Bryson wasn't too excited ... it was a little chilly on top. So we took him inside to make him happy. I think these are the first giggles we have heard out of him!

Following the Space needle we went to Pike Street. They were getting ready to close up for the evening, so we just walked through quickly. It still was great. Sara and I both agreed that if we lived in the city we would go and get fresh fruits, veggies, and meat there everyday!

We next walked down to the pier where we caught a water taxi and rode across Elliot Bay to an amazing restaurant called Salty's. It was really good and had a fantastic view of the Seattle skyline! We ordered fresh crab legs and steak!

Bryson slept through most of dinner, but when he smelled those crab legs he just couldn't resist!

These are some incredible photos from our trip that Sean took.

The next day we woke up at 4:30 am to catch a ferry out of Anacortes to the San Juan Islands. While on the island, we went to a park so the kids could play and have lunch, whale watching near a lighthouse, and sight seeing around the beautiful island. It was a long day but we are so glad that we went! We got pizza in Anacortes on the way home and spent the rest of the night relaxing.

Sunday was spent going to church with Sean's family, playing games, watching movies, and just hanging out.

Monday, Sara and I went to get grocery's to get some grub for a traditional Memorial Day BBQ! Sara's parents happened to come into town that day for meetings and joined us for for a few hours too. Sean took us to Snoqualmie Falls which was only about 20 minutes from their house. It was BEAUTIFUL! We finished off the night by watching National Treasure II.

We left to go home on Tuesday and didn't get to Page until 11:30 pm. We were really tired but sure had a great time. Bryson did so well considering he is only 3 1/2 months. We were so grateful. Adam and I sure enjoyed the time away together.
